I don't know if that's second pollution, so where, but it's somewhere. Well, tonight we'd like to go on building. Last night we talked to you about the two appearings of our Lord Jesus, and in between the two appearings a disappearing. He hath appeared in the past, shall appear in the future, but in between he has disappeared. He's in the glory tonight. And you know, in all the ages of eternity, You're only going to see one work of man in heaven. You know that, don't you? Only one work of man that you'll ever see in heaven. You'll not see the Taj Mahal. You'll not see those grand pyramids that some of you have gazed upon. But the only thing you're ever going to see there will be the five wounds in the body of our Lord Jesus. The only work of man that you will ever see. Now, let us turn tonight, please, to... Let's pull that thing a little closer, I guess. To Titus, the little epistle of Titus, Timothy, Timothy, and then comes Titus. And chapter two, and I want you to notice that word that we have tried to point out in the passage in Hebrews nine last night, the word appear. And I want you to see it, and I want you to notice it as we come along. We're going to let you out in good time as we did last night. Verse eleven of chapter two of the little epistle to Titus. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared. Here's that word. Hath appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, a present age, looking for that blessed hope and the, what? The glorious appearing. Here are those two appearing now. He hath appeared in the past, and He is going to appear in the future, that glorious appearing of the great God in our Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, or rather a people for His own possession, zealous of good works. How many here tonight believe that we'll save our good works? Got a whole crowd of heretics here. That's the only way you can be saved is by good works, isn't it? But not yours, the works of another. I'm saved by good work. He said, I have finished the work thou gave us me to do. So I hope that you'll understand that from now on, that salvation is only by works and good works. These things speak and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Now, as we've tried to point out before, and as you already know, all through the Scriptures, we have prophecies concerning the first appearing of our Lord Jesus, from the little bay born in Bethlehem, His flight down in Egypt, we can trace him back to Bethlehem, and then on up to Nazareth. You say, we don't know much about those years. Yes, we do. You won't find him in the four Gospels, but you will find what happened if you read the Psalms. Many things that happened to him in Nazareth. And then we see his public ministry, and we finally see him and the man of Calvary, and buried and raised again, and then his ascension to the Father's right hand. But just as they're certain that there are these passages of prophetic Scripture that has to do with His first appearing, so there are hundreds and hundreds of passages of Scripture in the realm of prophecy that have to do with His second appearing. That aspect of His second appearing when He receives from the hands of the Holy Spirit the Church, which is the body of Christ, And then that aspect of his return, when his feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives, and he then shall return to take up Israel again and fulfill his purposes for the nation of Israel, and then finally to rule and reign over the Gentile world, the whole world, and to bring blessing to this world. I was just on the telephone. to a very good friend he was telling me just our program about these boat people in Vietnam these Vietnamese and how the ties are regular pirates and going and raping their women on these boats and robbing them of what little they have of everything except their clothing I long for that day don't you when the crest is going to be lifted and when righteousness shall cover the earth and the knowledge of the earth shall when the knowledge of the Lord shall cover the earth like waters now cover the sea. Well, here is this great burden of prophecy. We tried to underscore last night John chapter ten and verse ten when our Lord Jesus said, I am come that ye might have life. And then turning over a few pages to John chapter fourteen and verse three, I will come again. Two distinct appearings of our Lord Jesus. He came the first time to give life. He is going to appear the second time to receive those who have received that life. Now, I want you to turn with me to the Gospel of John and chapter ten. A very, very familiar portion, but I always like to have you read it for me and read it with me as I'm reading from the Gospel of John in chapter ten. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, John. All right. Chapter ten. And verse one. As you know, the Gospel of John is the only one of the four Gospels that have the double verilies, about twenty-five times. Isn't it? You have the double verilies in the Gospel of John. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he put forth his own sheep, he goeth before them. And the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. As you know, there are two marks on every one of the Lord's sheep. There is the mark on the ear, and there is the mark on the foot. They'll have an ear to hear, and they'll have a foot to follow. They'll not follow another, but if he's really and truly one of the Lord's sheep, he'll have an ear that will hear his voice, and they'll have a foot that will follow him. Now, that's what he's saying here. A stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him, for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable, I have just read it for you, spoke Jesus unto them, but they understood not what things they were which he spoke unto them. Now, it's not difficult to see that our Lord Jesus here is referring to a Jewish sheepfold. Many of you have been to the Bible lands, and you know very well what a sheepfold is. You've seen them. It's usually a high stockade made of rocks, and you'll see just one doorway. And if you were to ask the shepherd, I see the walls around here, and I see the doorway, but where is the door? He would answer you with quite evident surprise, I am the door. Because at night time, some trusted, faithful shepherd, we may call him a porter. We'll lie down in that doorway. It still happens today. There's the difference in the sheep coat and the sheep fold. He'll lie down so that no hyena, no lion, no, you see lions, I saw a lion over there in nineteen sixty-seven, I believe, big mountain cat. And the hyena, still plenty of them in the West Bank, I guess the East Bank as well. But no wild animal can get in and no sheep can go out. And there's food outside and food inside. They should go in and out and find pasture. And this trusted shepherd will be in charge during the hours of the night. And the shepherd will come from his farm. call his own sheep and the under shepherd will probably greet him, say good morning shepherd, and say good morning porter. And he goes in and his own sheep know his voice and he calls them by name. I'll never forget being with a friend of mine in Jordan and a shepherd who's coming along with about a hundred and twenty-five sheep. And I said, would you mind asking this shepherd if his sheep have names or she did? And he started calling them. I said, no, I don't want to know all the names, but do they have names? Sure they had names. and they understood the shepherd's voice, and they do. I've seen all this demonstrated many, many times. Two or three folds can be together, and the shepherds are going their separate ways, and they simply sound their voice, and their own sheep will come out pass under the rod, and they count them, and they call them by names as they go their way. That's the picture that our Lord Jesus gives here. Now, the Lord came, born among them. He said, I am only sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And you remember that when a Syrophoenician woman asked for help for a sick daughter, he said, I cannot take the children's bread and give it to you, a Gentile dog. Of course, she said, yeah, but at least the little pet dogs get crumbs that fall from the table. And when she took her rightful position as a Gentile dog, then instead of getting crumbs, you remember what she got. She got the whole loaf. Then a little later in this passage, the Lord Jesus said, I've got other sheep. that are not of this Jewish fold. They are out there somewhere, and them also I must bring, that there may be one fold and one shepherd. Now, you can help me again on this. I believe that here you have one of the very, very, very few glimpses that you have in the Gospels concerning the church, which is the body of Christ. which will not be Jewish in character and not Gentile in character. But there will be one flock, a fellowship of life, a fellowship of light, a fellowship of love, one flock and one shepherd. He said, I'm going to bring them and we will have the one flock and I will be the one shepherd. Now our Lord came to his own. He came to that Jewish fold and he said, I have sheep here. I've got them. Not all of them are going to believe any more than right now. Among the Gentile, not all are going to come, but some will, and his own will come. And there will be the flock, and there will be the shepherd. Now, the Lord Jesus said that when the true Messiah, or the Bible said that when the true Messiah comes, he'll come by a marked out way. And if they really and truly knew their scriptures, they would be able easily to identify the true shepherd when he came in his first appearing. The Lord Jesus said, don't believe everybody. When someone comes and professes to be the Messiah, the true shepherd, don't go into a closet to see him there. Don't go out in the desert to see him. He said, they're going to. There'll be plenty of them for my first appearing, and it will abound before he comes in the second appearing. Now, I'd like to use a little, I hope, a sanctified imagination. We're going to say that, oh, two thousand years ago, one of these imposters shows up. And, of course, ten years ago, we have never heard of the word. Many of the words we've never heard ten years ago. Here's a fellow with real charisma. You've never even heard of that word ten years ago, but now everything is charisma. And a fellow shows up there in Palestine, and he has that beautiful wavy hair, black hair and shiny eyes, and thirty-two white teeth dangling out. And he really has the gift of gab, and he really sways them, and he said, I'm the one you've been looking for. I am your Messiah, and I expect you to follow me. Now, if you don't mind me just taking your place, since I'm a little bit more brassy than the rest of you, I'd like to step out and interrogate this fellow. You don't mind if I do that in your behalf, do you? So I go out and I look him right in the face and I say, you claim to be the Messiah. Yes, I am. I expect you to follow me. I'm the one you've been looking for. I'm the seed of the woman and I'm the seed of Abraham and the seed of David. I said, I'm going to test him. Would you mind telling me, sir, what tribe were you born in? Oh, you said, I'm of the tribe of Dan. I'm sorry, sir. You are an imposter. You're a crook. You're a thief. You're climbing up some other way. You have not come by the clearly marked out way. You have come to hurt and to destroy. Get out of here. Sorry, I'm a little crude, but that's the way I'd have to talk to him. So another one shows up, and boy, he has a gift of gab, and he goes preaching around. He does miracles and all of the rest of it. Well, we've got plenty of them doing that in the world today. And so he comes around, and I'm going to step up in front of you if you don't mind. I'd like to interrogate him. I said, Sir, you claim to be the Messiah. You claim to be the true shepherd of Israel. Yes, I am. Sir, would you mind telling me, what city were you born in? Oh, he said, I was born in Joppa. Down on the Mediterranean coast, I'm sorry, you're a crook. You're a thief. You're an imposter. The clear, marked out way tells us that when the shepherd of Israel comes, when the true Messiah comes, he is going to be born not only in Bethlehem, because there are two Bethlehems. There is the Bethlehem, about five or six miles from Nazareth, up in Zebulun. But there is Bethlehem Judea. This clearly marked out way in the Old Testament would very easily point out to anyone that wanted to know if he really and truly was acquainted with the Scriptures, who would be the right Messiah when he came? Now, there were literally, well, I think I can pinpoint it. There were three hundred and thirty-two Old Testament prophecies that were to be fulfilled in our Lord's first appearing. And He fulfilled every last one of them, three hundred and thirty-two. Now we have young people here, and I hope that you'll store this in the northwest corner of your hat and never forget it. This is tremendously important. On the cross, our Lord Jesus said, it is finished. Cried, it is finished. Not only was the work that his Father gave him to do a finished work, but that great burden of prophecy, prophetic scripture that had to do with his first appearing was finished. You remember how often you would read? that he did this, that the Scriptures might be fulfilled. That the Scriptures might be fulfilled. He said that, that the Scriptures might be fulfilled. And on the cross he cried, I thirst, that the Scripture, not Scriptures, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. There was only one left that had to be fulfilled. And he fulfilled every last one of them. An amazing thing. Three hundred and thirty-two of them. Now, just as certainly... As he fulfilled all of them in his first appearing, there are many, many more than three hundred and thirty-two that will be fulfilled in his second appearing. I said last night that we are very, very privileged to be living in nineteen seventy-nine. We are. We are living at this age and we are seeing things that your grandparents never saw. I was asked today if I couldn't recommend some book that would have to do with the last things, and I certainly, you know the one I recommended, don't you? A little book that was written by a man who died in eighteen ninety-six, and his name was Charles McIntosh. He was an Irish school teacher. And he wrote a little booklet, Papers on the Lord's Coming. You can get it for forty-nine cents from Moody Press. And if McIntosh were alive today, he wouldn't have to change one word of anything that he wrote. Read them yourself. He wouldn't change one word because he never went beyond that which was written. I might as well say something while I'm talking here tonight. Those of us who preach and those of us who teach, let's not go beyond that which is written. I lived in the thirties. And I'll never forget being not many miles from here in a big tent meeting. I think it was in Hendersonville. And I heard a fellow there. say, not something somebody told me, but I heard him say, the big tent was packed and jammed. You've heard him say that Mussolini might be the Antichrist. I'm saying Mussolini is the Antichrist. Most of you tonight have never heard of Mussolini. He was an Antichrist, but he was not the Antichrist. I heard somebody else say in nineteen thirty nineteen thirty nine in July that if things didn't change for the better in the world that Jesus Christ was going to return in September of nineteen thirty nine I heard him say that but he didn't come in nineteen thirty nine so let's not go beyond that which is written I have a clock here I didn't bring any almanac I don't know what time it is on God's clock I don't know he may come before I out of my next sentence No prophecy must be fulfilled before that aspect of His return that will remove the church from this earth. Do you understand that? Waldo Scott, that great commentator, said, Christians are not told to look for signs. But it won't do any harm if you just glance at him and see him going by. And a few of them are going by right now. But we're not told to look for them. We're told to look for the Savior. And there's not one solitary prophecy that has to be fulfilled before the Lord Jesus, that aspect of his return, comes to remove the church, which is the body of Christ. Never put anything, even as thin as a piece of India paper, between you and that aspect of the blessed hope of his coming for his own. Do you understand that? with seeing things today that no generation ever saw. Now, it's not going to be too easy. You did it last night. I think you could probably do it. Take another good look at me if you don't mind. Fifty-five years ago, I was a little boy. Really, just fifty-five years ago. We didn't have electricity. Nobody else ever had a situation like that. We had coal-oil lamps, kerosene lamps. Nobody here ever had coal oil lamps, a kerosene lamp. Well, we did. And I remember Saturday we used to take the newspapers, take the chimney off those things, and ream them out, you know, and polish them up. And then, twenty-four hours had hardly passed before they'd smoked up in one side. My father would put that lamp in the middle of the table and turn around the good side, so he had the good side and his side to read. And he never did wear glasses. That's why I have trifocals now. Vance Havana, heard Vance Havana say recently, he said, I don't, I get along pretty well with my trifocals. My teeth fit pretty good, but it's my mind that I miss. But we had that old corolla lamp, fifty-five years ago, that's all. Telephone hadn't come to the average home. And I remember when we got off telephone, that was nothing. Our number was nine-one ring five. Remember that? And we'd have to have a whole family conference to put in a five-cent long-distance call only fifty-five years ago. Radio. My brother and Howard Thompson built the first radio in our town. It was a one-tube radio. Anybody remember those experiences? And had that in what we call the little room in our house. And everybody had to move to the other end of the house and would go in one by one. We'd put those fifty-five years ago. put those earphones on. We hear the squealing all over the place. And finally, we hear a voice, KDKA in Pittsburgh. And I'd go to school the next day and tell the kids that I had listened to Pittsburgh, Montreal. And they all wanted to touch me. They couldn't believe it. Fifty-five years ago. Television. Never even dreamed about television. In fact, I told my children that I lived in the days when they didn't have television. They wanted to know what side of the flood I was living on there. And we never did own an automobile. My father had a wheelbarrow. But that was about the closest we ever came to an automobile, fifty-five years ago. And had I told my father I was going to fly from Washington, D.C. to Paris, as I did, in three and one-half hours, he would have said, you've got rooms for rent. And he would have committed me. Fifty-five years ago. And the Bible told us all about that. And you know, we were told, as soon as the Second World War was over, we were going to enter a brand new age in technology. It was going to revolutionize our age. And we were too clever. That would be the last war, the Second World War. And we would have everything. And of course, since that time, more money has been spent on militarism than would be required to build every family on earth a comfortable dwelling. But now we're being warned, as Mr. Cardick and back the other day from that summit conference. I'm not worried about the fallout. I hope I'm part of the fallout, if there isn't going to be any. I'm not going to build a bombshell or anything of the kind. But I do know that God is running the show. But the Bible has taught us very plainly that before our Lord Jesus appears the second time, we're going to be living in a very, very clever world. And we are. so clever that we can put a man and let him walk around on the moon. No one ever believed that before, but we've seen it in our day. Men have been to the moon. They're talking about that. A very, very clever world, but the Bible teaches we're going to be living in a very, very frightened world. And right now men's hearts are failing them for fear of the things that are coming upon this earth. And I'll be honest with you, if I didn't know the Bible, and knowing what a little bit I do know because of the nature of my work, if I could tell you what I've seen with my very own eyes has happened in Rhodesia by these friends of our government, I'm sorry to say, I've seen the terrible atrocities on blacks, by blacks who are trained by the communists, and are backed by Andrew Young. I just, if I were to tell you, you wouldn't believe it. I guess you would believe it because you'd believe me. But I've seen it with my very own eyes. I'm one of the two, two of us went and the only two outsiders that have ever been allowed with the security forces in Rhodesia on the Mozambique border. We saw men die and we went from camp to camp to camp to camp and preached the gospel to these boys who were going to die and they did die. A very, very frightened world. And we're living in that time right now. I said that there are hundreds of prophecies that have already been fulfilled. Now, I'd like to come, and I'd like to point out something that most of you already know. But in case there's one here, it's worth my saying it. Did you know, young man, young woman... that in the last twenty-four hours of our Lord Jesus' life on this earth before he was placed in Joseph of Arimathea's sepulcher, that the Lord Jesus fulfilled no less than twenty-six Old Testament prophecies. Twenty-six prophecies in twenty-four hours. Now, some of these prophecies were written by a farmer living on a farm. Some of them would be written by a king sitting on a throne. Others would be written by a man living in a remote village. Some of them would be written by a man who spent his life out in the desert. They were separated by both time and distance. They didn't know one another. They had never met one another. There was no way for them to ever get together and compare notes. Yet they wrote these things in the Bible. And the twenty-six of them were literally fulfilled in our Lord's first appearing in twenty-four hours. It's so amazing that I think I ought to repeat some of them for you. And those of you who know them so well, you can take a little nap right now. One of them, Zechariah by name, said that our Lord Jesus would be betrayed for thirty pieces of silver. Amazing words, literally fulfilled. Another one said he would be betrayed by his own familiar friend. Literally fulfilled. Another one said that those pieces of silver would be cast down in the temple. Another one said that he would be forsaken by his disciples. Another one said that those who accused him would be false witnesses. Another one wrote that he would be smitten and he would be spat upon. Another one said that in the midst of all of this, he would be silent like sheep. Another one said that he would be wounded and he would be bruised. Another one said that his hands and his feet would be pierced. You won't find that in the four Gospels about his feet being pierced. You'll find that in the Psalm of the Sobs, Psalm of Calvary. Psalm twenty-two, they pierced my hands and my feet. Another one said that he would be put to death with transgressors. Another one said that he, when he was being put to death, would pray for his tormentors, literally fulfilled in the last twenty-four hours. Another one said that people would go by, probably going out of that Damascus gate and going down to a Jericho and they would wag their heads and they would revile. Another one said that his garments would be parted among them. Another one said, told about his cries upon the cross. Another one said that he would be given gall and vinegar to drink. Another one said that a bone of him would not be broken. And that's an amazing thing. There are two hundred and seven bones in the human body. And those nails driven through those hands, those delicate little bones. Now, one bone of his body should be broken. Now, you keep this, this is a little bit in parenthesis, a little bit in the side, you know, a detour. You'll notice that everything that is ever said about him is said about the written word of God, the Bible. A bone of him shall not be broken. The scriptures cannot be broken. He is called the faithful and true witness. The Bible is called the faithful and true witness. He is the way. Teach me to go on the way of thy commandment. Scores and scores of likenesses between the living word and the written word of God. Another one said that his friends would stand afar off. And another one said that his side would be pierced. Another one said that he would die of a broken heart. Another one said that the heavens would be darkened. And another one said that when he had expired, he would not be buried in the valley of hell, the valley of Hinnom, but he would be buried in a rich man's tomb. And you'll say, Roy Gustafson, why do you take our time telling us this? We already know this. But now listen, mother, grandmother. If you will get a hold of this, both Old Testament and New Testament, you're going to find that you will have a very valuable tool in your hand with which you can help these young people who have godless teachers in high school and as they go to college and university. and say, listen, if you continue to believe this stuff, you're going to be as ignorant as your parents or your grandparents when you get to be their age. You get to master this, this great thing of prophecy. Think of it. Twenty-six prophecies fulfilled in twenty-four hours. Now, I tell you what I'd like to do tonight, if you'll let me. I'd like to turn into a prophet. Would you let me be a prophet? I can hear some of you say now, you're no prophet, you're a total loss. But no, I'd like to turn into a prophet tonight. We have people running around the country. I suppose that you pick up that thing in your supermarket and you read what Jean has to say. I'm not going to put you on the spot and ask you to raise your hand, but everyone else know it, Jean. You know what she says. And she goes around and sometimes she prophesies, you know, about presidents and about great events and sometimes she's right and sometimes she's wrong. And I'm so glad she's wrong at least fifty percent of the time, aren't you? I have as good an average as she does. I can tell you that tomorrow morning it's going to be rainy or it won't. Oh, it won't be one of the two. I can tell you that. I have a fifty percent average. And that's all that she has, too. But they are running around the country and people are, because it's a multi, well, it's a billion dollar business, the business of soothsaying and fortune telling and all of the rest of it. But I'm going to turn into a prophet tonight. And I'm going to make my first great prophetic statement. I hope you're ready for it. You ready? There's going to be a great fire in the world. You say, come, come, now there are great fires every night in the world and nothing. Well, all right, I've made my statement. Now there either will be or there won't be. It's one chance out of two that this will be fulfilled, right? That's my first statement. You say, where's it going to be? The fire is going to be in North America. Well, when I add something to my first statement, I have lessened the chances of the first prophetic statement ever being fulfilled. It's not now one chance out of two, it's one chance out of four. Do you understand? I'm going a little bit further. You say, what country? United States. And I'll pick out our great country here. The fire is going to be in United States. And I'm going to go on and on. And you know, when I have done this, twenty-six times, it'll be one chance out of two, the next statement, one chance out of four, the next prophetic statement I make will be one chance out of eight, sixteen, thirty-two, sixty-four, one hundred and twenty-eight, and when I have done that, twenty-six times, I don't suppose anybody here is going to do it, and don't ask to borrow my little calculator, because I'm not going to lend it to you. But if you can do it without a calculator, if you take a sheet of paper, just two, four, eight, sixteen, thirty-two, sixty-four, hundred and twenty-eight. And when you've done that, twenty-six times, you know what you're going to have? It will be one chance in sixty-seven million, one hundred and eight thousand, eight hundred and sixty-four. One chance in over sixty-seven million that one man would ever fulfill twenty-six prophecies in twenty-four hours. Now, I know there are some of my choice friends here that would love to see me get into trouble. And I'm going to get in trouble right now. I've already prophesied. I haven't mentioned any names, but I noticed his wife just looked at him and grinned and said, yeah, you're the one that would love to see me get into Roy Gustafson get in trouble. I'm going on with my prophecy. This fire is going to be in United States. What state? It's going to be in the state of Pennsylvania. Oh. What city? Philadelphia. When? Tomorrow. June twenty-fifth. What time? Two o'clock in the afternoon. What streets are going to be on? Well, it's going to be on sixty-ninth Avenue. Philadelphia. Sixty-ninth Avenue West. That's where it's going to be. Three lives are going to be lost in this fire. Two men, one woman. It's going to be in the middle of a block, the eleven forty-six block, in a medical center. It's going to be on the third floor in Dr. Johnson's office. The fire is going to start. I'm going on and on and guess and ramble on, ramble on. And it's going to be the top drawer that's fitted with a Yale lock. It'll be unlocked at the time. There'll be a red rag soaked in gasoline. There'll be a cigarette lighter there. And I go on and on, and I make my twenty-six prophecies. And I see I'm not impressing anybody here. But tomorrow night, before you go to bed and you have your little radio and you listen to the radio, or you pick up the newspaper on Tuesday morning and you see the headlines, great fire. Philadelphia, ten million dollars worth of damage, three lives lost, two men, one woman, ten million dollars worth of damage, and it goes and explains the whole thing. What are you going to do? Tuesday morning, you'll be wrapping on my door, even though you're supposed to be quiet. You'll be there before breakfast. You say, Roy Gustafson, what a prophet! You've prophesied twenty-six things, and every last one of them came to pass. Oh, won't you please not go back to Florida, come to Durham. We'll follow you. We'll get rid of that while. Send it back to the farm. come and we'll build bigger. Oh, listen, all the treacherous and assemblies and everything else in Durham will overcome. Oh, you're the greatest prophet we ever heard about. Now, I want to tell you, if you talked like that, you'd be just about the most stupid individual that ever drew breath. Because there'd be only one way, you know, if all these things happen, the dumbest cop in this county, or any fire marshal that heard what I was saying tonight, would come, and he'd lay his hand on my shoulder, and he would arrest me for arson. Because there's only one way that this could ever happen, and that is, it was born in my brain. Roy Gustafson thought it up, and he caused the whole thing. Young man, young woman, there is only one way for you to understand that one man could fulfill twenty-six prophecies in twenty-four hours, and that is because God knew all about it. And God planned the whole thing, and He wrote it down in a book for us. That's why your Bible is called a more sure word of prophecy. far greater than any experience. These days everybody wants these new extracurricular experiences. They want to speak in that or that. I just left home and this fella had a terrible stroke and he's eighty-seven years old and some of the group was praying that he might be healed. Can you imagine a worse thing in the world to do to pray for an eighty-seven year old man when his brain is damaged and arterial damaged and praying for him to be healed? For what? But that's what people are running after. You have a far more sure word of prophecy than anything else you could ever receive from God. Now, as these were, and I only have about five minutes, and I'm not like the little boy that was sitting up in the balcony and watching the preacher, turning his notes. He turned the last page and spoke for about two or three minutes. He said, oh, I see my time is gone, but I could go on for hours in this subject. And the kid yelled out and said, oh, pipe down, you're out of stuff and you know it. I'm not out of stuff. Honestly, I'm not. I'm going to pick up where I left off tomorrow morning. Where'd you ever get that lost? I want you to turn me into something absolutely terrific. There's so much in the Bible. Turn to me into Genesis forty-nine. I'm going to turn my alarm off. Genesis forty-nine. In Genesis forty-nine, you have a daddy by the name of Jacob. We heard about him this morning. And he's talking to his twelve boys. Now can you turn and listen at the same time? Here is a prophetic statement that he made three thousand seven hundred years ago. Look, verse one. And Jacob called unto his sons, Genesis forty-nine, and said, Gather yourselves together that I may tell you prophecy. Then I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. Now, I'm not going to take all the boys, but I want to single out one. Verse thirteen. Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea. And he shall be, for an haven of ships in his border shall be under Sidon. Now look up from your Bible this way. Tomorrow afternoon when... I'm going in with Brother Phineas and I've got all these areas in Arab and from the Middle East and I'm supposed to be discussing the Middle East with him. When I come tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to feel like a lion in a den of Daniels. But we're going to be talking a little bit about the British Mandate. You can't understand the Middle East today if you don't know something about the British Mandate. But when the British were there in the Middle East, the British were looking for a deep harbor port for the big ships. I know they had Jaffa. You hear about the Jaffa oranges, but those ships had to anchor off the coast, and the lighters went out back and forth. They went down in the Philistine country, Ashkelon, Ashdod. They searched the whole Mediterranean coast along there, and there was only one place that they could find for a deep water port, and that was Haifa. That's the only place you could find. And you can go there today as I was there in October in a Bible conference with seventy Messianic Jews on mountains of Carmel. And I was staying in the Dan Carmel Hotel and I looked out of my window and I saw prophecy being literally fulfilled. Because these are the plains of Zebulon. And I saw those big ships going in and going out. And you know the name of the fishing, the shipping company that was going in and out of there? The Zebulon Shipping Company. And I thought of Genesis, verse thirteen, just like old Jake said. Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea, and he shall be for a haven of ships. Literally fulfilled. The Zebulun Shipping Company. Now, I'd like to carry there, but I'm going to turn over to Deuteronomy, if you don't mind. Deuteronomy chapter thirty-three. This is no longer a daddy talking to his boys, but this is the first man in the Bible who has spoken of as being a man of God. As you know, that Abraham was the friend of God, and Israel was the prince with God, but Moses was the man of God. Verse one, and this is the blessing, not a daddy talking to his boys, but rather Moses talking to twelve tribes. This is the blessing where with Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. What do you have to say, Moses? Look at verse eighteen. And a Zebulun, same boy, same tribe. He said, Rejoice Zebulun in thy going out. We've already pointed out that Zebulun is an outgoing tribe from the plains of Zebulun. And Issachar in thy tent. Issachar was an abiding tribe. They shall call the people unto the mountain, the mountains of Carmel. There they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness. I think they have to wait a little while before they have that, but it's one of the holy cities in Israel. For they shall suck the abundance of the seas. We've already seen that. And treasures hidden in the sand. I look this way. I have a good friend who's in his fifties. And of course he's lived there all his life. He's an Arab. And I said, Abu Ali, Ilius' name, but his firstborn son is Ali. So we call him the father of Ali. Abu Ali, I said, you've lived here. Now, before nineteen forty-eight, when you used to come here as an Arab, anything up in top of these mountains of Carmel? He said, not a thing. Not a thing up here, except maybe two Druze villages. You know who the Druze are. The plural of Druze is Druzes. The plural of Jews is not Jews. But anyway, a couple of Druze villages and usually just scrub oaks and a lot of caves and a lot of rocks and everything in the mountains of Carmel. Nothing but not a thing up here. And here I was staying in a nice modern hotel in the top of the Carmel. You have bowling alleys, you'll have cinemas, you'll have ice cream parlors, and you'll have everything on the top. And he says, I'll call them to the top of the mountains. And they shall, Zebulins shall suck the treasures of the sea. I'll come back that in a moment, and treasures hidden in the sand. And when you stand right there above Haifa, because no such thing as Mount Carmel, it's the mountains of Carmel. And you look to the north, and then as you're looking to the north, and then just sort of look over here about the north-northeast, and you'll see the only oil refineries in all of Israel. And there is a pipeline that is one thousand miles long, that goes all the way from there to Iraq. And before the trouble were the Jews and their half-brothers. They literally were sucking the treasures hidden in the sand and bringing it all the way. They still bring it through Israel today as it goes out of the port of Sidon. But they were sucking the treasures of the sand and refining it in Hippah, in the area that belonged to Zebulun. They're still bringing the oil, and don't ask me when they're getting it from now, but they're getting it. And don't worry about that. They're getting it. They anticipate while I was in Burma the other day, Moshe Diane was there. Do you remember Burma used to have oil? They get it. You know, Israel is a very peaceful country. There's no more peaceful people in the world. They want a little piece of Lebanon, a little piece of Syria, a little piece of Jordan, a little piece of... They're very, very peaceful people. but they are still sucking the treasures of the sand and also treasures that will be in the abundance of the seas i said it's an outgoing people what sea the dead sea thirteen hundred feet below sea level in some places thirteen hundred feet deep it's twenty seven percent solid And if they can get the potash out of there and have water, they can make the Middle East to be the Garden of Eden. A conservative estimate, a conservative estimate, of the value of the minerals of the Dead Sea has been put at one trillion dollars. Not a billion dollars, a trillion dollars. Twenty-seven percent so. And in the south end, they have a dike. very shallow down the south end, down where Sodom and Gomorrah were. And it takes six months after they've sealed off the dike for the sun to evaporate the water. They put their equipment in there and they bring the potash. We export potash from Florida, phosphates rather. We import phosphates from Israel for Florida. kind of a crazy world, exporting and importing, but the rest of it takes six months to get it. Then they open the sluice, let more Arab water flow in, they close that off, and the water evaporates that, and they're doing it, and they're getting bromides and all kind of minerals, just like Moses'
