Good morning. Time again for moments of melody, five minutes to help you begin your day. When you feel a little discouraged about your task and feel its kind of drudgery, think of the bee. A red clover blossom contains less than one-eighth of a grain of sugar. Now seven thousand grains are required to make a pound of honey. A bee flitting here and there among the flowers in many places for sweetness must visit fifty-six thousand clover heads for a pound of honey. And there are about sixty flower tubes in each clover head. When a bee performs that operation, Sixty times fifty-six thousand, or three million, three hundred and sixty thousand times, it secures sweetness enough for only one pound of honey. God gave the honeybee unusual powers. God has great plans for all his creation. In the verses we're going to read today, we'll find out about his plans for real Christians. I know not what the future holds. But I know who holds a future. It's a secret known only to him. When my eyes behold the stars, This heart of mine is filled with wonder. My poor mind cannot grasp their array. But the hand that spilled them there All across the wide heavens Had a plan when he placed them that way Known only to him are the great hidden secrets I'll fear not the darkness when my flames shall dim. I know not what the future holds, but I know who holds the future. It's the secret known only to me. And now St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians. God's unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by sending Jesus Christ to die for us, and he did this because he wanted to. And now all praise to God for his wonderful kindness to us and his favor that he has poured out upon us because we belong to his dearly loved son. So overflowing is his kindness towards us And He took away all our sins through the blood of His Son, by whom we are saved. And He has showered down upon us the richness of His grace, for how well He understands us and knows what is best for us at all times. God has told us His secret reason for sending Christ, a plan He decided on in mercy long ago. And this was His purpose. when the time was right, He would gather us all together from wherever we are in heaven or on earth to be with Him, in Christ forever. Yes, God has the very best plans for you. You can't plan anything better than the plan that God has for you. Trust the Lord Jesus as Savior. and then ask him to guide your life.
