Good morning. Yes, a good, good morning to all of you. Moments of melody coming your way. An outstanding California physician has interviewed many patients, and he always asks them one question in particular. If you had an Aladdin's lamp and could have anything you wanted, what would it be? All but three, over the many years he has interviewed, said, I'd like to have peace. In John, verse twenty-seven, the Lord Jesus says, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. And then John sixteen thirty-three says, I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Jesus is a never-failing friend. Jesus will be faithful to the end. Saving me is keeping on the way. Go away from sleeping in my faith. Jesus is a never-failing on His love and grace I can defend. God from You can never, I am You forever. Jesus is a never-sitting prayer. And now for the most important time of our short program, as we read the sacred scriptures. We're reading from the translation of of Monsignor Ronald Knox. And this is the Gospel according to Dr. Luke, Chapter Eight. And his mother and brethren came to visit him, but could not reach him because of the multitude. So word was given him, Thy mother and thy brethren are standing without, asking to see thee. But he answered them, My mother and my brethren, are those who hear the word of God, and keep it. A day came when he and his disciples embarked on a boat. Let us cross to the other side of the lake, he said to them, and they began their voyage. And while they were sailing, he fell asleep. And now a storm of wind came down upon the lake, and they began to ship water perilously. So they came and roused him, crying, Master, Master, we are sinking. And he rose up and checked both the wind and wave, and there was a calm. And then he said to them, Where is your fate? And they were full of awe and astonishment, saying to one another, Why, who is this, who gives his command to the wind and water, and is obeyed? Are you like the people interviewed? Are you seeking peace? So many are today. Remember the Lord Jesus said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. He's able to speak peace to the troubled sea and to your heart. Give him the chance. Thank you.
