I saw that I, when I saw, that I was on a sea stand in the palace within the province of Elam, and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river Dula. Then I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, there stood before the river a ram, which had two horns. That's Negru Persia. And the two horns were high. But one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last. I saw the ram pushing westward and northward and southward, so that no peace might stand before him. Neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand. But he did according to his will, and became great. As I was considering, behold, and he goat came from the west. on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground, and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran into him in the fury of his pallor. And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with pallor against him. And smote the ram, and great is to harm, and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, that he passed him down to the ground and stamped upon him. And there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand, though complete was the defeat of the medieval person by Alexander the Great. Therefore the key goat waxed very great, and when he was strong the great horn was broken. And for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds. Out of one of them came forth the little horn, which waxed exceeding great toward the south and toward the east and toward the peasant land. And it was waxed great even to the host of heaven. And it cast down some of the host, and of the stars to the ground and stamped upon them. Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the post that was the existing high priest, Oniah the third at that time. And by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. And a host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression. And it cast down the proof to the ground, and it practiced and prospered. Then I heard one saint speaking unto another. Another saint said, Another saint said unto that certain saint would speak, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice and the transgression of desolation to give both the sanctuary and the hope to be brought and underfoot? He said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days, then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. And it came to pass when I, even I, Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning. Then behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. And I heard a man's voice between the banks of July, which called and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. Now if he stopped there, and there was no further explanation, Even then, I believe, you could, by comparing history and reading history, you could understand these animals, simplify what's already been said. Nevertheless, he explains it for us. So he came near where I stood, and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face. But he said unto me, Understand, O son of man, for at the time of the end shall be the vision. Notice that. Now as you were speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground, but he touched me and set me upright. And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end. Notice that. What shall be in the last end of the indignation? For at the time appointed the end shall be. The ram, which thou sawest having two horns, are the kings of Media and Persia. And the rough goat is the king of Grisha. Everyone knows that Alexander the Great was the first king of Greece. And the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation. but not in his power, not with the power of Alexander the Great. And in the latter time of their kingdom, notice that, in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance and understanding dark sentences shall stand up, and his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power. Stripping on to the end time, The coming man of sin will have Satan's power, for the dragon shall enter into him. But not by his own power. It will be satanic power. He shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper and practice, and destroy the mighty and the holy people, that is, the two. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand, and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace, subtly, By peace shall destroy many, he shall also stand up against the prince of princes, but he shall be broken, without hands, without human instrumentality, for God will deal with. And the vision of the evening, and the morning which was told is true. Wherefore, and this is the fourth time you need a reference to the end, wherefore shut up the vision, for it shall be for many days. Thy Daniel painted almost six certain days. Afterward I rose up and did the king's business. And I was astonished at the business, but none understood. You have the time of these kingdoms given you here, and when Daniel got the dream, in verse one, it was in the third year the reign of King Delcat. Now you have the first dream given to Daniel. over in chapter seven and verse one, there you have the first year of that chapter that did. And the place where Daniel was was Shushan, the palace, Shushan the palace. It was the capital of the Meats and of the Persians. In other words, God is giving us some of the conflict that went on between Samiz and Pers. Babylon is now out of the place. we see the end of Babylon at the end of chapter five. Now it's the Mediopersian and the Grecian Empire that God is a focus and more of this chapter has to do with those two empires. How the first empire, the Medioprecian Empire, that took over when South Caesar came into the colony and was slain, now we see... their power and then another power. The rising up that Daniel referred to, here you have the valley of grass, overflowing the server with the beneath them person and beneath them the person over through the head of gold, which was the Paulian Empire. You notice here how he likened these men or these kingdoms under his animus. He likened Nebuchadnezzar and that shall all be an empire, the Babylonian empire, unto a lion. And in some places you'll find, like an eagle, wings of an eagle. You can find in museums today, some of the coins of ancient battle. And some of them will have a lion on that coin. And the king used to wear a crown, a beautiful crown, full of jewels, a jeweled crowned. of a lion sometimes was worn by the King of Maddox. But when you come to Medial Persia, it's a bear. And it speaks of that with that crushing weight. It's not so stiff, but it has tremendous weight. And you'll notice the bear, said Daniel at first woman, chapter seven, he rises up on one side. Here Daniel said he has two horns. And one horn is higher or greater than the other horn, because the Median Persians, the one that came up last, the Persian Empire, was stronger than the Median Empire. And the kings of Median Persia, they wore of the jewels, the gold, the crown made of grand head and gold. Then when you come to the next one, the gold. Here you have Alexander the Great. Now in chapter seven, in that ring, why, you'll notice it was a beast, a leopard, something that was great. Here you find, it has four wings, or in chapter seven, four wings, here it's got four heads. And so you'll notice how video pressure was destroyed by Alexander the Great. Here is the Hebrew, with that one notable horse. and he came so swiftly as there that he didn't touch the ground. Such was a grand concept of Alexander the Great in deceiting and overthrowing the least and the most important. Alexander the Great reigned for eleven years and was a passionately. The result of that was four of his generals came up and took over that same area that Alexander the Great flew, Lord. And it tells right now if I do your attention to you, not in his power. They didn't have the power of Alexander the Great. Here at the age of twenty-nine, he was conquered of the world. How quick was his conqueror? The poor thing of the lesson, speaking of its rapid conquest. And then at the end, we see that horn break off and four come up in its tail, dead. The four generals that ruled over the area that Alexander the Great ruled over. Those four areas of Syria, Greece, and Egypt. And that was the area that Nebuchadnezzar laid over. And the four generals, when Alexander was dead, the four generals... They had one of those areas each in the same way, and thus we have the empire of ancient Greece. But out of one of those horns comes up a little horn. And here we have a man that the history speaks of, and this man was hundred and seventy-five years, I think, before Christ. Antiochus Epiphanes. Why the world knows a lot about Neopatra. This man, entirely of the Pythagoras, was the brother of Cleopatra. She was supposed to be the most beautiful woman who ever lived. And here you have her just. And he is a tireless character that ever lived. And you can remember the years ago that he was the one who came up out of the Syria area of Alexander's empire that rose in the fourth century. He came up out of the area known now as Syria. Who was some of the kingdom about this man? I say he became king of Syria in the ninth hundred and seventy-five years before Christ. That was about a hundred and twenty years after Alexander's death. And he reigned eleven years. And notice these seven things. He came forth out of one of the four kingdoms into which Alexander the Empire was divided. Second, in verse nine, he waxed exceeding grace. Third, in verse ten, he exalted himself. In verse ten again, he persecuted Israel. In verse five, he claimed honor due to the Messiah. In verse, also in verse eleven, the sixth thing, he took away the daily sacrifice. And the seventh thing, he passed down the fruit to the ground that he reached in verse five. That's what this little boy, this little kid, with any fact of the word, and the useful of the word little, does imply he was little in deliverance. For little in power and ability, he was enemy, but that. But this man, although he heard you as a little boy, he was more vile, more vicious than even nebulous and nebulous, or either gallant, king of Persia. and Eden of Alexandria. And here he comes up. And remember, this is hundred and seventy-five years before Christ, so it's something that's passed. This is history. You can get your history book out and read it for yourself. Two of the things about him. He was called Antiochus Epiphanes a madman. He robbed the temple. He stopped the ordinance of circumcision. He set up the statute on Jupiter in the Holy of Holies. and in diabolical thought of the liturgical sacrifices, he offered a shot upon the altar and poured the broth made out of that. Now in the sanctuary, glory among the glory of God. This day was the glory of holiness. This is some of the activities of this diabolical character and diabolism of this. He was eaten of worms that also then on to going on to Sophia intending, we take offense to his vengeance and also to try in some way to revenge his defeat at the hands of Judas Mani. If you have a history, Mr. Ironside has a book covering that four hundred year period between the close of your Old Testament, Mammachi and the opening of Matthew, four hundred silent years. A lot went on that you read here in this chapter. a lot went on in that period, how the Jacobes arose up, and what Jacobes, to the Jacobes, and from the other Jacobes, that defeated and destroyed Antiochus, the dead. And before his death, he was on his way, hoping to get revenge by the next year's reign. Do not put what we hear here about this. twenty-three hundred days were leading the Leviathan. This prophecy was fulfilled to the day when Judas Maccabees delivered to Lucifer and cleansed the sanctuary of hundred and sixty-five years before Christ. After in fact, Matthias of Epiphanes had so defiled the sanctuary, here are the Maccabees in mind of a great warrior. It's thrilling to read the way those men walked. almost like Gideon's tree hunt, supernatural power. And so after the sanctuary had been so polluted, these Maccabees, they captured it and they cleansed it. And once again, worship was continued there in the temple. Another thing about this character we're speaking about. One wonders why God permits such a character to come up. Now, and again you see these characters appear, that gave such strength of wickedness, and also of angst, and grufflessness upon his earthly people's wilderness. Why did God do that? Well, first of all, God's people had sinned against him. And God's going to whip him, earthly people. He permitted this foul monster to arrive and to persecute his people. because of their sin, they're here. Now let's ask another question. Why will another man arise that dwarfs this character? Some man who's coming will have been bringing the best of the Babylonian Empire, the best of the medial person, the best of Alexander the Great, or the Grecian Empire, and the best of those that Jesus. And all that Jesus those men, those four, and the many three years, will be in this one coming man. And all the clans, all the brutality, all the hate against Jews, that within these territories will be also rejected with this coming man of freedom, this monster of the Lord. He's an undisturbed. so vicious, so vile, that he can't be really described. And you don't find any animal here to describe. You find the animal to describe the first empire, Babylonia. You find an animal to describe the second, the mediocre person, a bear. And you find an animal to describe the third, a leopard. When you come to the fourth empire, even God is on ages. the mention of animals again that can fully describe the peace-like nature, the brutality of the course of empire that is the rise to the empire. And the one who's going to head up in the end time. That time is not very far away in my opinion. Why is God going to allow Israel in the future to be treatment to disrupt the monster of a missionary, such a vile character as the coming man and ship. Well, I'll tell you what, they asked for. Nineteen hundred years ago, Israel had her choice. Before them stood two men, for rabbit, who was a murderer, nothing. And he fled. And you know what Pilate said? This is a came that he said, I leave something for Adam, for Jesus. And they said, release unto us for that. For he died. He would sooner have their seed, their murderer. And that man, that man, he constructed the hatred of the Lord Jesus. That's all I said to God. He was told to share. And they had nothing but bloodshed ever that week. Persecution! What a trail of blood has been left over the fence. By the Jewish state being persecuted, driven from pillar to pillar. In many cases, talk of us around the scene of Jesus. Why, how that people of Jesus have been slain with everything taken from Those who chose the robbery have been robbed by many men and ladies and gentlemen. But the time of Jacob's father, which is ahead, for remember many years after the death and the rise of the epiphany, the Lord Jesus in Matthew twenty-four and also in Luke and Mark, he refers to the future, the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet. Now, this is hundred and seventy-five years after it. In fact, the privilege is dead. Yet Christ is speaking of another man that's coming. He's speaking of the abomination of the revelation spoken of by that. So he's speaking of the future now. And this little form, this fire personality, this cruel pattern, is only forerous and in it. by comparison with that huge gun that is to come the man of sin. But I trust you'll realize how near we are to that time. Things are shaping up to the end time. As I pointed out in verse seventeen, nineteen, twenty three, twenty six, in those verses he's referring to the time of the end, the time of the end. Many days and many days. A future time of trouble is necessary. Why is a future time with others? The time of Jacob's brother. When that nation is going to pass through the instruction of students, they never pass through in their history. How could they pass through darker days than they did under Hitler, had off Hitler, when six million were slaves? And all those humans incinerated. And how those Jews were lined up and pegged to the grave. sick nature. Think of how they can suffer, how they may suffer over the century. Right from the beginning, it's Satan, so humanistic instrument that they're trying to exterminate. That who has brought forth a mankind belief in the revelation of God. Trying to exterminate the God's going to allow man and Satan to go so far, but so far and over. Cast eyes in measure, they will be, but cast off forever, never. God will not pass away from the people. He'll still be the prophet Peter, how you man. But they're going to go through their darkest days. That's what's going on. Why is it going to be necessary? It's going to be necessary to complete God's invitation against this, not only because of the rejection of their Messiah, but because of their nationalism and because of their wicked idolatry and hunger. No one has received so much light and yet has gone so far in the dark. as usual. Many nations have been guilty of idolatry. But to think of a nation that was brought so close to God, was so near to God, and God loved Abraham, I did. And God loved his people. He said, I didn't love you because you were a great nation. For you were the purest of people. All God says, I love you, because I love you. And in spite of God's love you, and all the good things that God gave, the best piece of property on the face of the earth, a man growing with filth and honey, a carnival paradise, earthly creature, God gave it. He gave nations for it. He gave kings for it. And eventually that nation turned to like God, even King Solomon, married women, King's God. And they had their items dropped into the capital of the womb. And here is the case, turning from the living God, who had given him so much to him, and accepted the gods of his wives and sisters. God says, it was women, turned to their apostles. Israel is in the face of all that I know. Today her greatest idol is not. She was anything to do. How well we know that. But God is going to punish you. And when he punishes Israel, remember this. We won't have punished the world. He says in Romans eleven, you Gentiles, don't you point the finger at Israel. And start enumerating Israel here. They are the natural branch. And you are the wild branch of the wild all over you. And if God is going to yield up with the natural branch, what will he be? You are the branch of the family. You are part of the wide army. In other words, don't be high-minded, but be it. Because remember, this God is going to deal with the Gentiles. And he's going to deal with the Gentiles in the battle of Armageddon. Fire in the Armageddon. Through those vicious, fearful, terrible days under the Amageddon. Every old soldier. long with history. Gentile nations that will become have much, and almost most of the blood will disclose the horse-fighter to the veil of the Jedi. It will be Gentile. Then will the history of God will stay past, and the bright of the day dawn, when night shall come to rescue, or view the flesh, When the Gentile nations think they've just about exterminated the Israelites, the hated people that gave up the bite, the gave birth to our people, except when the Gentile Jews were brought with making a remorsement in their own extermination. Christ goes on to behold the land of Yahweh and the rest of the world. When he does come, Israel does see it. and his witness, the Messiah, who has been buried in the earth, he shall suddenly come into it. Then is then that he shall say, What are you doing to me? He shall say, You shall lay in the middle, I will do it in a house. Then shall they mourn, and then their sons mourn, their children. And naturally, their youth and their language have hide their physical aid. But only for our God. He was bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our people made upon the earth. He was frightened to believe, and what happens to individual Jews today who slept at all? What happens then to a nation? What left of the nation? That is the only thing. These days are at end. God is going to permit not only the punishment, but the punishment in which I'm God, Lord. I'm going to tell you. Transgression is going to come to the fold, you'll even know what I'm going to say. Transgression is going to come to the fold. Remember those words over in Genesis fifteen. The iniquity of the Amorite was not yet done. There were those who wanted to know why God did not exterminate the Amorite. or guile, lonesome people. Why is it God allowed them to live the life they did during the history of God? God said that God hasn't yet listened to the devil. The iniquity analyzed not yet. But their iniquity did rise to the devil. And when it did, God destroyed his judgment Today, God looks upon this world, and the top of the list, on this world is where this rising and rising. Things have changed in the last minute of this new year. It's almost unbelievable. If the world changes, including our limbs, have changed as much in the next fifteen years as the last of the new year. I'll go check out one of them. If the Lord is watching, and very richly rising here. We remind you on a previous message, the Lord says, I'll visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. We've had one or two generations past, and the generation we're in today, far worse than the generation before us, and the generation before us, first and the generation of Iraq. What if the next generation were to be? Following this, there were so many young people, so many young people, out and out, ages, dead or worse, no moral path, live like animals. Their children of what we're up to in Iraq victory war, victory war, their characters in the war, seemed some of this rock, that little pot, their parents smoking pot. And there they stood out in the mud, our bones, and they would be the young men and mothers and fathers and the long men. And what was the next generation? If ever there's a time and thought this spoke of this as the iniquity of the father, the third and fourth generation, which they use. The iniquity lies in fact, and like in the days of Noah, as referred to the iniquity in Amorite, in the case of Noah, the earth was still the planet. God said, the end of all faith was come this way, no one big enough. That is exactly where things are going to be. They are right where we are. And you know the only thing that holds it back behind the cross? The church is of salt of the earth. Christ says we are the salt of the earth. Salt is a proponent of production. They put meat into salt grinds for preserve. There was lots of other things. When the church is gone and the church is the only deterrent today from things coming to their ugly heads and their van up to the church here, God only knows what will be like when the church is gone. And the church in the light of the world always will be like and all the children. All born again once again, all those in old times and all the little children haven't reached the age of this gospel. All are raised now. You want to be here after that? Why things will rush to the ugly head, so to pray. I don't know how many days it will be after the church is gone, before that man of Sennapis. But you do read this. Then! After the church is gone. Then tell that day. You don't know whether it will be a week or a month or a year. I don't think it will. This man of sin will exploit it with Jesus. And then you'll make a contract with a covenant with Israel for a week. A week, a week. And you know things are right then, you know, something's got to happen, please. And personally, I don't think there's going to be a nuclear war before Jesus. I don't. If there were to be a nuclear war and all nuclear power in Asia, the Russians, the United States, and France, and England, and China, some say this will happen. It won't be long as the Japanese, if it's left with certain laws, today it happens. But think of all these nations, you have it. You don't need any more nations. Russia and the United States alone. fact that the rump nation by itself is going to destroy the whole world. Not only do you think of the people that are going to be killed, but the war blasts of these mighty bombs. Communication will be disrupted all throughout September because they'll be the target for many of an attack. All your communication is lost. All your sanitation facilities are gone. No electricity, no inventory, no family. Who don't get to eat? You can't eat the ground. You can't eat the ground. You can't eat the ground. Clear the ground. Clear the ground. It is the ground. What about this ground? Let me turn it over to you. Let me turn it over to you. You can understand the time you read from the book of Revelation. One quarter of you can have this revealed. Send one third of what was. I'm doing one half of what we are. I don't think we're going to see that for the Lord. It is pretty difficult to see a world so devastated by atomic energy as it would be if this nature needed power is based in consciousness. After a situation like that, you find it awfully difficult to take into the picture, right? so I can see a nuclear war before the Lord Jesus. I know one thing, not far off, I'm going to confess, I don't care what aspect you look at. You know, something thrilled me this week when I studied this one more than I had another year, and that's this one. You know, these very poor countries that we referred to? There you have Turkey, Greece, Egypt, and Syria. with her four-step-thousand-thousand faith, after the getter that I have done, there's proof over by this four-step. Then they were informed to have been expressed by law, thank you, and keep the path out of that. I want to think this life is one of these days to see how far back I can get mapped in the world. To see something about these nations that were almost distinct, that their name wouldn't appear on some maps through the Dark Ages after the reign of the king. But strange, as it may seem, that the Ottoman Empire was revived. Turkey, if you will, was twelve hundred ninety-nine BC, after Christ's age. Then you have Thailand, including Syria. That also became a sovereign power in seventeen ninety-four. Then you have Greece becoming a sovereign power in eighteen thirty. And then you have Egypt becoming a sovereign power in nineteen thirty. Nineteen thirty. Here you see a revival of these four powers which were sovereign powers eighteen hundred years ago. And they vanished out of the picture on the day all back while we... And Israel, that hasn't been a sovereign power for nearly five hundred years, became one in nineteen per year. Here you have the setting of all these five things. But at one time, they're almost right in the earth. Now there are five sovereign powers right in the area where Rome used to do it. And this coming king, he came up out of the area, this little horn. He came up out of the air which now is known as Syria. Syria. Could it be that that's where the man of sin's going to come up? In Syria. In Syria. He doesn't have to come up because he's a Roman. He doesn't have to come up writing Romans to be a Roman or necessarily an immigrant. The Apostle Paul could say, and the Roman. Yet he was a Jew. Princer, I'm a Roman. Polish the tribe, the share of citizens here. This man should come up in Syria or any of these other four nations. I'm afraid of the Romans. And print the text. The Bible says, the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city. And who destroyed Jerusalem under Titus? It was the Roman. And there the people of the prince that shall come in the latter days. And so the scene and the stage is being set for the appearance of this mighty little boy. For forty years the church will be taken from you. And I want to close with what effect did all this have upon them. Do you know that Naaman is sick? Do you know this fact in the last verse? It says in the last verse, When I Daniel painted and was sick, certain days, went to bed. Afterwards I rolled up, and did the change did not. And I was astonished at this, at none of these days. There were certain days, didn't even go down. And that's not how the water. The prophets spake in the Old Testament under the power of the Holy Spirit about experiences they never had, and really didn't know what they were saying. What happened? a state that was removed by the Holy Spirit. Now David was in this prayer of Psalm twenty-two. My God, my God, why have thou forsaken me? He was uttering these words by the Spirit of God. There were many words that were going to come in the mouth of the Son of God and walk. Hundreds and hundreds of years later. They were uttering things that they understood. Daniel didn't understand all that God gave him. But the nearer we come to the end time, the more we see how we show them and who are to do with them. Daniel went to bed. He was sick. Nature couldn't stand up under this mighty revelation of what things were going to be. A lot of days were coming upon them. But what he wrote, he pulled himself together, and he did what he did. That's very interesting. We arose and did the same thing. Now, Christian, although we emphasize Christ has come in here any more, any year, many more people come here. We'll say, well, if he's going to come that soon, I'm not going to work here. I'm not going to cook any more meals. I'm not going to clean the house. The Lord is coming. I'm going to pick my job. Daniel says, I've got what to do. the King on us. We are holy to the same person. And we've got to do the two things and keep balance. In other words, we've got to be enticed and pardoned about spiritual matters in the tradition of the world. On the other hand, let us be loyal to our earthly masters in our earthly form. And keep that in the earth. We are not a people who live in this country. Our Father and Son, in the name of our Lord, we thank you. We will be done in that way. That's my blessing. As we read these things, it takes us, our hearts are at risk. Father, saddened with Father's coming, our objections with God upon this foreground. At the same time, those thoughts were saved and thrilled at what we be our portion. Christ shall call us home. Be prior to those dreadful days. Be blessed and delight in forever. O God, save us. Before Christ comes, and those of us who are saved, may we redeem the time in the life of the soon return. We ask that in the clear of the precious name, amen. Two hundred and forty-three. two-hungers and forty-two. Out of my bondage, saw to the night Jesus I come, Jesus I come into thy freedom, gladeth and hath Jesus. I come to thee. Only sing one verse, unless someone comes to Christ.
