Shall we turn to the twenty-fourth sound, sound twenty-four. When I have been speaking here on this, I have been speaking on what we call the Messianic sound. We've spoken on Psalm two, Psalm eight, Talms sixteen, Psalms twenty-two, Psalms twenty-three. And tonight we have Psalms twenty-four. And the next two and the next two and the second is Psalms forty. These are Psalms which are written about in a time, a thousand years before he came. And they're wonderful sounds. Our brother Mr. Sier in his book, he's writing a book, he's written it. on the Messianic Psalms. I'm earnestly waiting for this publication now, but I think it's going to be a treasure. So I see Ernest Wilson. When he was here in the year, he did speak on some of the Messianic Psalms I remember quite well. Psalm twenty-four and verse one. The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof. the world and they that dwell therein. You see what I was saying, I learned at this school, I'm sure. We used to say this at school in our ordinary, or we'd call it a day school here, in our ordinary day school here, and we all had to learn this from when we were children. Verse two, for he had found it upon the sea and established it upon the woods, earth, for flood. Who should he stand into the hill? Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? and who shall stand in his holy face, he that hath seen hands in a pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul under vanity nor sworn this recently. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy faith, O Jacob. Sit up your head, though ye gates can be, lift up ye everlasting doors, and the king of glory shall come in. Who is this king of glory? The Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty and mighty. Lift up your head, though ye gates can be, lift up ye everlasting doors, and the king of glory shall come in. Who is this king of glory? The Lord of Scots, he is the King of Lords. Here, shall we pray, that God our Father again in chief thy faith. We thank you for this tremendous sound that has brought before us tonight. And we have no words of our own to talk about these great, wonderful, glories of thy beloved Son. For we pray thee that the Holy Spirit of God might take the word of God and apply it to nothing. and give us words to speak that we might magnify and glorify the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. And we pray, Lord, our hearts might be drawn nearer to him as we contemplate the wonders of this sound. We ask it in his precious and worthy name. Amen. I think we must call this sound the dream of glory. When he was here, Mr. Wilson made these remarks when he was speaking on this song. He said that this term, the King of Glory, only occurs in this song. And five times in those concluding verses you get his title, the King of Glory. He's the Lord of Glory. In Acts seven, Jesus said that God of Glory appeared unto our Father Abraham, that he called the King of Glory. Psalm twenty-four. Now I'd like to talk a little bit about the historic background of this sound. What we think is the historic background. You can hardly prove, but we think most of the Bible spouses think that this sound was written by David on the occasion of the restoration of the ark. You remember in the days of the old priest Eli, The Ark of God was captured by the Philistines and taken away, and there it stayed a long time. David came to the throne, and the Ark of God was away from Jerusalem. And David had one great desire when he came to the throne. He wanted to build a house for God, and he wanted to bring the Ark of God back to Jerusalem. He wasn't allowed to build a house first. But God said, your son, who reign in your state, he shall build it, and truly Solomon built its temple. But Solomon built a tabernacle for the house of God. I suppose the same sort of structure that Moses built. Maybe why is this to look back a moment? Let's look at Psalm a hundred and thirty two of me, and then you get the desires of David. in this connection. Psalm. A hundred and thirty-two. I don't think there's any question about the meaning of Psalm a hundred and thirty-two. He says, Lord, remember David in all his afflictions. How we swear unto the Lord and bowed unto the mighty God of heaven, the mighty God of Jacob. Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed. I will not give sleep to my eyes, nor slumber to my eyelids until I find out a place for the Lord and habitation for the mighty God of Israel. When Jacob came to the throne, he wanted to make a habitation for God, and said, I won't even be slumber to my eyes until I've done this thing. Tignits rained five years over Judah, And then thirty-five years over Judah and Israel, the food the division was brought together in David, and he reigned over them, broke away again after Solomon's reign. And he says in the Psalm hundred and thirty-two, verse five, verse six, lo, be heard of it, at a target. We found it in the fields of the woods. What did they find? They found the Ark of God. Somebody said, Phil, it's going to take the Ark of God away. And someone had found it and told David, Hello, we found it at a platter. We found it in the fields of the woods. We were going to his tabernacle. We will worship at his bookstore. And I'll go back to Second Samuel chapter six. Second Samuel chapter six. David is about to bring the Ark of God back. You see what a tremendous visit is for. Second Samuel chapter six, verse one. And David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirteen thousand. It would take thirty thousand men to bring the Ark of God back to Jerusalem. So that's how Jesus is. That's how he plans to do it. In great pomp and ceremony. and a great army marching regent and I suppose all the music and all the poetry to bring the ark of God in time to be back to Jerusalem. And David arose and went with all the people that were with him to bring up from then the ark of God whose name is called by the name of the Lord of hosts that dwelleth between the children. Thank you. And they set the ark of God. Now look what this is. This is absolutely contrary to God's plan. God said, you read Numbers clearly and carefully, you will find a coincide. They were one of the family of the two spirits. A coincide had to bear the ark of God. This is Numbers chapter six. It's amazing. Let's look back a moment and see how God dealt with that. Numbers chapter six. It says there that in there, I've got the wrong place, Numbers chapter four. Numbers chapter four. Verse four. This should be the service of the sons of Korah in the tabernacle of the congregation about the most holy things. And when the camp set in forward, that's the day when the pillar of cloud and the middle of Civil Fire moved from the tabernacle and moved on. Then they had to strike camp, break down all the tents, break down the tabernacle, and fold up all the various parts of the tabernacle and carry them in procession. And right in the middle of the procession moved the tabernacle, all broken down into its component parts. But see how they had to go. The first thing and the most important thing was the Ark of the Covenant. And in verse five, when the camp set it forward, Aaron should come and his son... and they should take down the covering veil, that wonderful veil in the temple. They should take down the covering veil and cover the Ark of the Testament with it. And she put there on the covering of Badger's feet, and she spread it, spread over the cloth, wholly of blue, and she put in the staves there. And then the co-etite, with it, covered up this way, they had to take, there were two slaves, and they had to carry it on their shoulders, and God's time for moving the ark, and all the components, parts of the eaves of the tabernacle, they were all carried on the shoulders of the Torah site. But when the Philistines got the ark, what did they do? They put it in an ox stock. That was the Philistines, a heathen way of dealing with us. sacred ark of God, they put it in an ox crop, but that wasn't God's way was to have these pilgrims make in the desert journey and they carry it on their shoulder. And David, he went to do it, away as a prisoner. So it says, verse three of two Samuel six. and they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, that was in Ghibah, and Uzziah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, graved a new cart. And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was in Ghibah, accompanied the ark of God, and Ahio went before the ark. And David and all the house of Israel prayed before the Lord, on all manner of instruments made of perwood. even on hops and on sultas, on tumbles, and on cornets and cymbals. And when they were come to Nathan's precious floor, Hazel put forth his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it for the oxen shook it in the anger of the Lord with tumbles against Hazel. And God smote him there for his error and there he died for the ark of God. God came to bring it. the way the Philistine is carried with it. And God looked upon that with displeasure and the option shook the ark, the man put his hand out, eat out, as if it took a man, a human hand, to uphold the sacred ark of God. And David was very displeased. And he put the ark in the house of verse eleven, verse twelve. He put it in the house of the Obed-Eedon, the Gentiles. And the ark of the Lord continued in the house of Obed-Eedon to get out three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Eedon and all his house. And it was still David saying, the Lord blessed the house of Obed-Eedon. And all that pertained is. Then it got a long story short. David went down the right way and took it full of time. and the faith, and they carried the ark of God through Jerusalem. And David, in great pleasure, he played the music, and I think he wrote this wonderful song. And he danced his wife, Michael. She was very displeased with him because he danced before the Lord. But he brought the ark into Jerusalem, and I think she would have written this song. Some countries have an old name and they have what they call a poet laureate. A poet laureate. He writes poetry directed for that job. And he writes poetry as that would change the history of his day. Great events to take place. He writes appropriate poetry to go with the event. And David wrote the poetry here in this twenty-fourth psalm to fit, this fittingly fit. this spring back with the ark of Jerusalem. That's what he thinks. That's the background. And of course when they came to the gate and they said, Lift up your head from the gate, you lift up your everlasting doors, nothing of glory should wait. But how could you say, King of glory for David? I think this sound can only be applied to the Messiah. It can only be applied to the Lord Jesus Christ. Who else is the King of Glory? Who else would be called King of Glory? Now you heard me speak before about this psalm, applying it. And as I said the last time I was speaking, you want to say tonight, Scripture has many applications. It usually has one interpretation, but many applications. And you can apply Scriptures, but I, and I have spoken here about this. as being a picture of when the Lord Jesus ascended there from in Acts one and he went up to heaven and I've got to imagine that as he reached the gates of heaven he crawled, they crawled out, they crawled out, looked at the head, they gave him, he lifted up, he ever laughed and said, Lord, the King of glory shall come in. I got that from a picture, and you've heard me say this from him before, a picture I got in Greece. I was in Greece on some historic occasions, and I was there in the year, I think, nineteen, thirty-six, maybe thirty-seven, but I think thirty-six, when the King of Greece, who had been in exile for some twelve years, was brought back to Greece. Now, they had a courtesy. When the two parties in Greece, there were, I don't know if, in the years since I was there, there used to be two parties, the Royalist Party in the Venezuelan Party, something like our Republican Democrat and Democratic Party here. And the king was exiled. And we've been in exile a long time. And the Royalist Party won an election, a general election. And they won it with a promise that they wouldn't bring the king back. You know, I used to notice strange things happening. Sometimes when I got to my office in the morning, I'd find stuck to my desk a little picture of the king like a post-it. And I used to think, well, listen to me. Then they used to sing. I could hear the men sing. Er, er, er, er, er, er could they? Er, er, er, er could they? Er, er, er. Er, they mean he's coming. He comes, he comes. And I said, listen, who's coming? Who's coming? They said, we'll find out the words. He's coming. And this architect became a great thing. They used to hire people to go around and instruct them, go through the streets, sit in the shrugging, he's coming. And then they decided to have a plebiscite and decide whether the king should come back. And I remember the Sanjeev Sarvalai, I think, I was able to go to any meetings that day. We all had to go. I worked in the government establishment in the Greek state elephant factory, and we all had to go to work for that day because that was the voting day. And all the airmen there were given a good practice, and they were taking the vote. And some of them stood right over, they told me. And then I stood right over, to make sure you voted for the train. And then he came home and had a good lunch, and then he took a motorboat, second time. And then he came back with another meal and went to the boat for a third time. I knew one man, he told me that point, he said, I voted sixteen times for the king. And they called it a ninety-eight and a half percent majority. And decided to bring this. Now, I'm not really sure in Greece, I love Greece, and I love that these people, But I lived through this thing and in politics, politics can be pretty awful everywhere. You've seen some of them in our own country, but they brought the king back. But in my heart I knew that the nation didn't want the king that way. I wished him. And we were given quite an honor. My wife and I were invited to be present on that morning. It was the morning in November. The only foggy morning I ever knew in all the ten years I lived in the room. And we were invited to be down on the seashore at the Italian naval base where the king stepped to shore. And we saw the boat coming in through the fog getting clear and clear as he said to the fog, and the king stepped aboard and drove in a car up to Athens some seven miles up long, agony. And I had lodged. some days that they were erecting something right at the top of this avenue, just as you enter the city of Athens near what we call Adrian's arch. Just along there they erected a great triumphal arch, a wonderful thing, something like the arch of triumph in the parish, a wonderful thing. And I wondered what part this could say in the return of the king. Well, the next day After the king's arrival, I got the newspaper in the morning, and I saw the pictures, and I came to what happened. When the king got to the top of this avenue inside, quite near to this arch, he got out of the car, and he mounted a white horse, and he drove up to a gate. And an officer came out, and he shouted out, P.S. D. He said, what do you say? Paul, who goes there? Paul, who goes there? He said... I'm King George who's second returning from a cow. And you also turn around and gave an order. And that is, Ronald. This chapter I said, Joe, you're great to be. This chapter I've read before. And the fear of Lord is with me. And I saw this, to me, perform here in an ancient city. I was among the stakeholders to let the same come back. And I wanted to describe... The Lord going back to God, who's praying the same, is from the mind of Allah, when they got to the Lord, through the gates of heaven that we struggle. And I think that means I'm not listening to every step. But I know it is. And to be more precise, I think we've got to look at what is God is after the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit to get the real meaning in the deep. There have been many thrones on us. There have been many things in many ways. And the Bible talks about thrones. The throne of God. The throne of grace. The throne of his father David. He talks of a great white throne. But this is neither none of those. This is the throne of world power. If someone goes at stake to the rule of this world, and how many, many men have tried to do this, how many men have tried to be a world dictator, a world ruler. But in all their times, in all their ways, they cannot change God's plan. God is giving this world to four great empires. The Babylonian Empire? as when the times of the Gentiles started. Maybe, but never thou art instead of gold. The medieval Persian Empire. The Grecian Empire, Alexander the Great. And the Roman Empire. Four great empires. Are those that come up? If that's not God's plan, there will never be any more world rulers than these four empires that have already made peace. until the Lord Jesus Christ himself comes to take the reins of government. How these men in history of thought should be the founder's throne of the world, ending in our days. We remember World War I, how the Kaiser wanted to rule the whole of Europe. We read that history of Napoleon Napoleon was trying to conquer the world. And he got so far that he went to Austria. And there he was crowned with a golden crown. What did he say? He said to him, Lewis is a great person with nobody. He said, you're not the crown you're except the Pope. He said, there's no man, Pope, or anybody else. You're not the crown me. And he took a crown on his own, says Napoleon. He was a great world ruler. He was a great world ruler. And he was a great world ruler. He ended up in exile on the island of Sandalina, out there in the Gulf of Latin. In our time we see a Hitler come up. And Hitler was going to make an empire that was last for thousands of years. His Hitler was going to be coming in on all sides. Outside of the time he was there in Berlin supposed to have sought himself and be Though she's budding with that, you know, and putting his budding there in the garden to the plant. That's how it is there. He wasn't a man just with a ponder, so only he was. But God got a man, and that man reached a love of God. And I would like for a moment to let you some of your qualifications. First of all, look at verse one. The earth is the Lord. Now is there anybody else in the world except the Lord Jesus Christ that we must be blessed? The earth is the Lord. By whom were all things made? Visible and invisible, crones and millions, principalities and powers, all things were made by him, and years before all things, and by him all things. The earth is the Lord. Not the folly, not the folly. not the Jesus, not let me suggest, the earth is the Lord, really as the quality says, that sit upon the throne of the good work. The earth is the Lord, and of course it is for us. Think of all the wealth in this world, of all the oils, of all the minerals, of all the wonderful treasures and diamonds and all that's in the earth, and all the nations. Think of all the holiness of the heart, which has reached in accord with you. He made it. He wrote it, you know. He is the only one who has the authority. The only one who has the right or right will be put upon the throne and rule this way. I need a great question here. In verse two. Who shall ascend? Who shall ascend into the head of the Lord? Or who shall stand in his holy faith? Must be changed here. The head of the Lord, that's Zion. The head of the Lord is now Zion. David longed to get into Zion. And then he went to it. And he said, Who shall walk with a brother to me? and smite the Jebusite. You see, when the Gospel of Conqueror came and came, you know the covenant with some of these people living in the wrong place. Often they destroy them all, but they didn't. You know the covenant. And the Jebusite lived in the fortress of Zion, and nobody could get in there. And if you look at it, David said, who could get in there? to get up the gutter and slice it again thanks to the invaders, man. Now I have been in the region, and I have been in what we call, Ezekiah's Tunnel. Ezekiah bought for a dirt and an aqueduct, a tunnel, bringing the water from the Virgin's Fountain, down to the pool of Kailan. It's this narrow in Ezekiah, the soil is just about next to it, without bumping, and the water flows through there. They broke from this end and that end, and they almost met in the beginning, it's a little offset. As you leap outwards, the people in this end met the people from that end. But we went through it. Tangles in our hands, we had to go at night, took out to do, to put out and make sure water was as a pool of pylons. Maybe because the little rocks were sloped there. And we went through it night, and I used tangles. I don't know how many of us we were all in the early armies of the world in those days. And we all must have been ice cream partners, thirty of us in any other way. So when we say anger, and then you go through a million of these towns, in the world of these people, it's easy up to virtually. And when you get there, you stop. There is a gate on our left side, and that gate closed up and set by a stairway, set, touching the walls, and up to the right, set. And this unit is the Regan County. And the only way to get into the fortresses of the Jeddah, the only way you need it, they should dive down into the pool of Sola, following. things will have come up and come this way. And nobody ever did it. Nobody ever did it. And David said, Whoever will do it is, and counsel the forces of the Jebelites shall be like, Hamas and the commanding sheep of the Kishoreat will do it. And he says, he will order there and be shall eat. And the counsel of the forces of the Jebelites, and that's where David goes, his home in his city, Mount Shrine. And David loved one of them. And David saw that the will of the Lord. And this is what we're talking about here. Don't fill a chand into the will of the Lord. But in the will of the Lord, in the down, the will of the dead are temples. And that's the holy temple. Now whom in all these days, in all the years, is worthy, is qualified. their own set, their own balance, their own little bit of oil, and then get his holy say, to his own center. Who's going to choose? That's what it is going to choose. Who's going to come down? And they see, the English was sung, by the way, in the English way. The first two verses were sung by the chorus of the Mahatma Sr. And then when you get the verse three, a single volume piece, it seems like sure ascending to the hill of the Lord and he should stand in the same place. And then the chorus answers that, he that has three hands, no, a voice answers that, he even has three hands in a full heart, he has not lifted up his soul into vanishing or swarming his feet for me. And then the chorus comes in, please don't receive the blessing of the Lord and righteousness for your body and his salvation. Thank you for doing it for them to speak in the street like three things. and when the procession got nearer to the wall to the gate, then the chorus sang, lift up your head where you gate to be, lift up your everlasting doors, and you see a glory to come in, and a voice from inside the gate says, who is this in a glory? And the chorus replied, the Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty and mighty. You saw that for a bit earlier, I said, a little bit. Let us look at the chorus straight. You see till I came into the inner of the Lord. This is part of the reason. You need to have clean hands. You know, that Brother Vrishya didn't have clean hands. It's sorry, it didn't bring some dirty dirt. That's not true, Vrishya. Well, I understand that when the late, the late imperial was sitting by the tide of our late, we were sowing again and sowing. He said this, Kelly, how many people have been being responsible for putting it to death? He said, seven of the typical problems he said. He turned it down the street. Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Ten million souls, he said he did. Seven. Ten million souls. He said he did. Seven. He didn't have to, then. But I am about to do the role really. You wanted to take the role out there in the government and rule through this way, but he didn't have to. You know, the great emperor of St. Paul says, he didn't have to be, man. And when the Christian Jesus was, what a cruel wicked man, he was murdered his mother, and killed his wife, rejected him. That was milk. You didn't have to be, man. But when doing that for you, there is only one person that makes sense out. The one with an energy of strength is the only one that has needed. And a poor one. I know no one that can answer this. And meet the qualities of your heart, except that all Jesus has. Who's not looking at this soul under them? You see why that's what they all did. All these lampposts and all these good shakers and all these rulers, they got popped up. You know, because this is the place to be that I have chosen. And all these lampposts were popped up. They tried and done. They didn't follow. He that is not, his soul is not looking at this thing. For the Lord be with you, I am meeting only. Praise my youth upon you. You and the world have been so I am meeting you. He was Mr. Rapporteur. He is the only one that needs the qualification to enter that way of the Lord and the Holy Spirit. He is the witness who blesses you from the Lord and righteousness from the God that you shall be. Now we get a sound of the picture. This is a picture of the Holy Spirit, I believe. Let's put a moment, look at Revelation, Revelation, Revelation, Revelation, the third and verse, eleven, I saw heaven open, and they're all a white horse. The ring that sat upon him, the cross, saying, till and so, and in righteousness, he that he dead and made war. His eyes rose a flame of fire and on his head were many crowns and he had a name written that no man knew but knew himself. He would throw his white vestibule blood and his name a sob and hold a child. And the army took over his head and followed him upon white horse with clothes and climbed in him, white and smoothed and added his mouth and a sharp sword and with it he took knights and nations and each a roar and with a roar of iron. and the Holy Spirit of the Holy Spirit and wrath of all might be done. We are coming just one tiny little spring of sin and Lord of God, who is a secret scripture of the Lord Jesus coming out of heaven. What can happen? We know, we know, and they'll be free our time before us. We know that when the Spirit is coming and they've got the greeting eyes, the Lord will come and call us people out of this world. We know that in the this world will enter into what here are called in the day of the Lord and we start with the day of the day, the seven years to be there. We know that there will be five great powers in that day that will be the Western Confederation. I believe that it will be a lot later in the Middle East, the Northern Atlantic Treaty Organization. with an amalgamation of Volkswagen's power. You say, well, America do you need more America do you need, man? That's in the world today. That is the holiday world together. And then you have your domestic together. And in England today, and you go to New York, and you go to New York today, and you go to New York today, and you go to New York today, and you go to New York, you go to New, you have the common mind. as the dimension. This principle is political, is domestic, and is unity. And the world says, is unity. All you make is the one. And the world says, is that the mutual value, is the And we know there will be a great bridge in the western part of the United States called the W in Rome, and the same nations will come together and for all of us in them. And then up in the north there, over in the north, each of the west, there will be a lot of lords and chariots in the west, startling stuff. And down in the south of Palestine, there will be the thing in the south. And watch if I was saying that the king of the north, Syria and the Arabian, all these Arabian things, they're baked away from Egypt, they're a million, I mean, I read this to the king of the south and I'll say that all the past is where we're going, we see the things of the south. So there's one more power. And it's the things of the tall and millions, two hundred millions. And China and Japan and tomorrow and all the other, least high that can burn that can burn a little here when you need it. Please give yourself a big part of a tree and then the tree will also come in and dry with you, please give yourself. You may hear me say, you know, I'll brush it from you. things that we used to come here and then the western part of it and all these types of things we met around four little regions. The race from the retarded station and the people slain, a third will be slain and then the grave part of our majority. And the great church there will be radio and it will go and it will go in the great part of the church. I am the Lord that comforts every day of the year. I follow one word through the arms of the Holy, and the Lord that rises. I am the Lord. And the Lord gives us our time, in what life, to be pleased to come back to you and on your body. And when it is time and time, you say, please raise hands, raise, raise, raise, bring your hands. And when you say, when you say, are you, Jesus, when you raise your hands, and suddenly, just like Paul, saw his partners on the way to Damascus, their arms with nursing and their children. And the one that, if he's the five outside, if he's really the reason, he's none other than the minister, and he's the one about whom they can't come forth in writing all these news. Who is the one ignoring, and the one with the nursing?
